The product task
A website can rely on analytics, forms, external scripts and other services at the same time. Its owner needs to understand which integrations are present and which deserve attention during a data-processing review.
Hostinside inspects a website and helps collect technical observations about external services and data transfers. Its localization recommendations provide a starting point for further work.
My contribution
I am the founder and developer of Hostinside. I created the service from its initial concept through implementation. The project uses WordPress, PHP and Nginx.
The subject is connected to my website engineering work: replacing external services, configuring websites and integrating cookie banners, policy pages and consent controls for forms.
What you can inspect
The service is available at hostinside.ru. You can use it for an initial technical review and examine the integrations and recommendations it identifies for a website. The product is in Russian and addresses local website requirements.
This is my own service. The case covers its purpose and my role in development. Changes to an individual website are discussed as a separate scope of work.
Using the findings
The report records technical observations within the scope of the available checks. It does not certify legal compliance. A legal assessment requires information about the website owner's processes and advice from an appropriate specialist.
Before changing an integration, establish what it is used for and which functions depend on it. Forms, analytics and other affected workflows should be checked again after the changes.
